Young people are losing their livelihoods, often their families’ only source of income. They face severe mental health challenges, deep educational crisis and increased inequalities in today’s world.
We’re standing together with our partners and every young person and we need your help – please support us now. We want to help young people and their communities to adapt and thrive in 2021 and beyond.
Sustained support helps us plan how to do more. If you are able to, please consider making a committed monthly contribution to our work. It’s a commitment to helping some of the world’s most disadvantaged young people.
Want to donate something more?
£10 a month could help to establish a youth savings group.
£25 a month could fund a young person’s business training, including book-keeping, accounting and business planning.
Any donation you can spare could fund a young person’s business training, including book-keeping, accounting and business planning.
£20 could help fund a literacy and numeracy skills session for a young person who didn’t finish school.
£50 could help to teach a young person a skill such as farming, mechanics or tailoring.
For many of the world’s poorest people finding real opportunities is difficult. Sadly in the post Covid-19 world things are only going to get harder. What was a global crisis has become a global emergency. Here at Y Care International we’re doing something about it.
Working closely with strong and trusted local YMCA partners, we’re striving to ensure that young people are supported through access to training; business and life skills; tools of the trade and entrepreneurial opportunities for growth.
There are 1000’s of young people teeming with talent, waiting to start their own businesses. They have the ideas; determination and passion. Let’s help them succeed.
“If the YMCA had not intervened I would have ended up selling myself on the street to feed my children because I no longer have my parents to support me.”
